Titan Brick  manufactures an interlocking, compressed earth brick for the exterior and interior walls of a home or any other type of building. The bricks are water resistant and may never expand or contract. They are 2 1/2 x times stronger than concrete blocks and very dense, making them smooth to the touch with edges never before seen on a brick or block. Homes built with the bricks may be able to withstand 240 mph wind pressures with no damage. There is no drywall or wood in the home, so it is flood and fire resistant inside and out up to 1,800 degrees. Homes built with the bricks could save 50-60% on energy costs because the high thermal mass of the bricks is combined with an R-20 heat resistant coating.

Termites may no longer be a problem and the home is sound resistant from outside noise and even room to room noise. The finished home will cost no more than a wood frame home. This interlocking designed brick is part of a complete home building system that is poised to revolutionize the home building industry and provide green residential homes that could be LEED certified at the GOLD or PLATINUM LEVEL!

The two most common building materials used today are wood and concrete blocks.

As can be seen from the footage of the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina,
wood and concrete blocks are no match for wind, fire or water. New building materials, like isothermic walls (poured concrete in Styrofoam molds), are becoming more popular even though the extra cost can be significant. With the price for cement constantly rising, this type of building system will soon be cost prohibitive. All other building systems combined do not amount to 1% of the total market.

Our bricks offer a new concept in building where raw materials are abundant almost everywhere and the process of making the bricks require less energy than any other type of building material. This alone would make our bricks stand out among other building materials but the list of advantages goes much further.

Features of Titan Bricks:

  • Two and one half times stronger than concrete blocks.
  • Hurricane and tornado resistant (sustained winds up to 240 mph).
  • Fire resistant up to 1,800 degrees.
  • Can be cut, drilled and routed with wood working tools.
  • Insulated with a huge  thermal mass and an R-20 heat resistant coating.
  • Mold and mildew resistant.
  • May not sustain structural damage from flood waters.
  • Bricks resist termite damage.
  • Paint bonds to the bricks instead of just sticking to them.
  • Home would be very sound resistant.
  • Bricks may require no maintenance.
  • Faster construction time.
  • Can be built to look like any other home in the neighborhood.

These homes  can be wind resistant, fire resistant, insect resistant and very energy efficient. Frame homes waste energy, can not stand up against storms, are a breeding ground for mold and mildew, can be eaten by insects, leak, require constant upkeep and are built with a product that warps, splits, decays, sags, burns, dry rots, cracks, swells, shrinks and is constantly escalating in price. There is no comparison!!

Chart Overview

Below you will find a list of the main types of building materials used in the US today. At 94%, wood accounts for the vast majority of all buildings constructed today with concrete block coming in second. All other types of material for home construction currently account for less than 2% of the market. Comparisons below include all materials needed for a finished wall system, i.e. fiberglass insulation, drywall, sheathing, siding, vapor barriers, etc. Some of the comparisons say Screen Shot 2014-01-28 at 1.13.49 PM, meaning that if installed correctly, the answer is yes, if installed as customary, no.
